It takes all of us to keep Green Pastures beautiful. In order to maintain the pleasant appearance of our beautiful subdivision, we want to remind you of the following:
Pick Up After Your Pet:
It doesn't take much to remember that many of us have pets in our community. In fact, if you don't watch your step, you might just step in one such reminder! Besides being unsightly and smelly, animal waste can be hazardous to the health of our children who play in the community and other pets. When walking your dog, remember to immediately clean up after your pet. By cleaning up after your pet, you can contribute not only to the beautification of our community, but also towards the elimination of one of the most irritating, and most commonly complained about nuisances in our community.
Here is information from the City of Marysville regarding collection of leaves:
Leaf Collection Leaf vacuums will operate from the first full week of October through December 31st (weather permitting). Below are guidelines for leaf collection preparation:
*Rake leaves to the edge of the roadway/curb by Monday morning by 6 a.m. to ensure pickup each week.
*Do not place leaves in the roadway or pile them around parked vehicles, fire hydrants, or catch basins. Leaves placed around parked vehicles will not be collected as the vacuum trucks are not able to maneuver around parked vehicles. *Keep children away from leaf piles that are ready for collection.
*Leaf piles mixed with grass trimmings, stones, branches, etc. will not be collected.
*All leaves must be in paper biodegradable bags from January 1st through September 30th.
For more information regarding leaf / yard waste collection, please visit the City of Marysville website.
Live Christmas trees are collected on your regular trash day when placed at the curb by 6 a.m. All decorations and bulbs must be removed before the tree is placed at the curb. Trees should not be wrapped or placed in bags.
